Dine to Read

What an incredible book! Everything about the cover of this book would normally put me off reading such a novel. The cover dark, eerie, religious references, but what a gripping, compulsive read. It had me hooked right from the beginning and have just read the last line. While the ending leaves the reader longing for more, it is a disappointment to have to wait until January for the sequel 'The Four Last Things', as i hadn't initially realised that it was Part 1 of a series. Would highly recommend this book as a great, if alternative, read. It may not be for the faint hearted as it is quite grotesquely descriptive in parts but I'm quite squeamish and i managed it!!
