I've just finished reading the 2nd book in the Millenium Triology, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and have pre-ordered the 3rd. Can't wait to read it!!! Has anyone else read them and what did you think?

I'm reading the third one now. I love them. The story is very absorbing. Lots of surprises and action. Salander is the strangest heroine i've come across! I'm trying to make the book last a few weeks but once I start reading it I cant stop!

Amazon kept recommending that I purchase 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' but I just felt that Crime thriller wasn't me.
I eventually gave in and purchased the book, and I am so glad I did. What a superb book! It was extremely compelling. I found myself reading faster than I normally would just because the pace of the book seemed so fast! I don't think I've ever read a more action packed book, and just when you think the mystery is solved - off it goes again on a sub-mission.
I'm so glad it is part of a trilogy because I really want to read more of Larsson's work. I'll have to plan when I shall read 'The Girl who played with fire' because I've had so little sleep over the past week reading this one, the plot continually egging me on to read a few more pages, ah go on, another few, that I need to ensure that it is a Bank Holiday Weekend or something, and be prepared to submit myself to another compelling read!

I treated myself to the 3 books for Xmas and read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo while snowed in. What a fantastic original book ... I really loved it and could not wait to get going on The Girl Who Played with Fire. I am approaching the end of it and I'm really reluctant to finish it. It's a long time since I came across such original and enthralling characters and the story just moves with such speed and is so intense. The only downside is the difficulty keeping a grip on so many characters and especially the unfamiliar Swedish names and the geography of Sweden which I certainly am not familiar with. I highly recommend both books so far and I am looking forward to the third one. A definite 10/10 for me.
